About-MeD

Hello! I’m Michelle, a graphic + UX/UI designer based in Toronto.

I graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science in biology. It may seem like a huge departure from the art of visual communication, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. My ability to effectively visualize concepts, theories, and biological pathways eventually led me to a career in visual communication in the form of graphic design. I continued my education at George Brown College where I obtained a certificate in graphic design. I strive to grow and learn as a designer, and I’m truly grateful for finding my life’s passion.

My aim is to transform a project’s spirit into sophisticated and thoughtful designs where form follows function. I contemplate, explore and embrace the ethos of each project to produce striking visuals. My creative mantra is always to marry good typography with minimal, clean and bold aesthetics.

When I’m not designing or studying design, you’ll find me flying planes, travelling, vibing to music, watching films & TV, exploring the intricacies of contemporary art, reading, or listening to podcasts (any ReplyAll fans out there?).
