​​​​​​​Ro, the 5 star boutique hotel, is located in Cairo with strong potential for expansion in cities worldwide. Boasting only 40 rooms and suites, the hotel is client-centered with personalized concierge service. The hotel’s ethos is founded in luxurious comfort paired with Middle Eastern roots. Muted colours and a minimal contemporary design is accented with an Egyptian flare.
In ancient Egyptian theology, the sun represents life, the sky and the spirit world. The symbolic imagery of the ‘R’ carrying the ‘O’ in the design plays to this imagery. The typeface Neutraface was restructured into the final logomark. Its versatility lends to an easily recognizable brand across all media platforms with great application potential. The logo mark reflects the brand’s ethos—conveying simplicity, and comfort coupled with a subtle nod of Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs.
